Sexy movie star Sophia Smith locks herself in cold steel handcuffs, leg irons, thumbcuffs, toecuffs and a bit gag in this self-bondage sexy video. She wears a Chinese silk dress throughout. But this is not just for fun – this is a camera test for her forthcoming movie, using Anamorphic lenses. So as well as the “straight” footage we have complete behind the scenes of us shooting what was our first experiment shooting bondage on anamorphic lenses on the Sony cameras.
As you’ll see the results were a bit unpredictable – it’s hard to judge critical focus on camera rear screens at the best of times, add in an Anamorphic squeeze and the fact that this, my first set of Anamorphic lenses, was a bit on the soft side at the best of times and it meant this was an experiment we didn’t really repeat. Instead I bought Anamorphic lenses actually suited to the Sony’s and got much better results with those. I liked the look and feel of these camera tests, but the practicalities of getting critical focus needed addressing. As I write this I am nerdily looking forward to receiving my copy of the first-ever affordable autofocus Anamorphic lens from Sirui – If that can nail the eye focus it’ll open up the anamorphic look for more films which would be great, as they do make even our regular sets in our house look much more grand and cinematic!
